// 02 — how i work
Most teams treat performance, SEO, and analytics as someone else's job, handled after launch. I treat them as part of shipping. The trace below is how I read a page: every request has a cost, and the green one is the data the page exists to serve.
TypeScript, React, Next.js. Component libraries that outlive the feature they were built for.
REST and GraphQL. Stripe and PayPal checkout flows that reconcile and don't drop conversions.
GA4, GTM, Search Console. Core Web Vitals as a build target, not a report you read after launch.

I started in 2018 as a web intern in Afghanistan and have worked as a frontend developer since. Most of that time has been remote: a team in London, a company in British Columbia, projects across Asia. Working across timezones taught me to write code and documentation that stand on their own, because the next person to read them is usually asleep.
My focus narrowed over those years. I still build interfaces, but what I care about is whether they load fast, get found, and can be measured. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Herat University (2019), and I've taken the certifications to back the SEO and analytics side: Google Tag Manager, Advanced & Technical SEO.
I speak Dari natively and work in English at a professional (B2) level.

Led the frontend for the company platform: performance, checkout, and the analytics layer.
A six-month contract run alongside the G&M role — frontend features and performance work.
Built a responsive Next.js + Tailwind application; turned designs into reusable, accessible components and wired up REST and GraphQL.
Built dashboards and interfaces across 10+ internal systems with REST integrations to backend services.
Where it started — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and building responsive layouts.
The 2025–26 contract (amber) ran alongside the G&M role, not after it. I've left the overlap visible rather than flatten it.
